The Week begins with the Moon in Anuradha in Scorpio, with a one way gaze from Jupiter in Pisces, where we have a chance to elevate our whirlwind of emotions to a devotion in something bigger than ourselves. With Venus and Mars both having just moved from feminine to masculine signs, we may find ourselves more assertive in matters of romance as well as conversation. Mercury is very close to the Sun and hemmed between Saturn and the Sun, so we may also feel as though we are not being heard, particularly by people in authority. You could use that as an opportunity to speak louder and more direct, or you could discipline yourself to think or journal before you share your thoughts with others. Be mindful that what you are perceiving is not always true. The root of the word discipline is “disciple” and perhaps the real question is, “what can I learn here?” The Moon moves out of Scorpio late afternoon on Tuesday into Sagittarius, where we might find ourselves inspired by our beliefs, or other cultures and religions. We also may find ourselves feeling argumentative about these things as Mars is across the way in Gemini, giving us a more black and white perspective. This same day the Sun transits into Pisces, bringing our power into the realm of spirit. The deeper we can surrender, the higher we are able to connect to the source of all things. Mercury joins the Sun and Jupiter into the emotional waters of Pisces on Wednesday, where our communication can become lost at sea In the evening of March 16th the Moon transits into Capricorn, still receiving a one-way gaze from Mars. We may feel a lot of pressure to get things done, but lack the motivation or skills to put one foot in front of the other. Try swimming instead. We are in an interesting push and pull between fire and water right now and the practical realm of the Makara (sea goat/crocodile) offers us agility on both land and water. It can be easy to get lost in our emotions and fired up over anything, so be patient with yourself and others. The night of March 18th the Moon joins Saturn in Aquarius for the next couple days, ending the weekend, back where our month began; able to perceive what the future needs, and humble and willing to commit to it. *These are for Vedic (sidereal) rising signs. If you don't have your time of birth, use your Moon sign instead for psychological affect. Western (tropical) signs will not work at all. Aries The week begins with the Moon in your 8th house of transformation and your relationship planet now moved into your first house, joining Rahu. Expect the unexpected but also be aware that you may be seeing things as bigger than they are and it is always a good time to check in with others before making assumptions. Your ruling planet is now also in the 3rd house of will and determination and you may be feeling like being right is most important, but what would increase your happiness would be learning new communication skills. The week progresses to focus on your more public presence and what you bring to the world at large. Taurus This week is the start of a few weeks where you may struggle staying present. This has already been a bit of an issue over the past year as Rahu has been in your 12th house, but with your ruling planet visiting, it will be even more challenging to show up for the details in all areas of your life. Since your relationship planet has just moved into the 2nd, perhaps focusing on communication skills, and any other regular discipline you can adopt can help channel this energy into something healthy, as opposed to addictive tendencies. Think yoga, silent meditation, journaling about your dreams and cleanses. Gemini This is the beginning of a transit of Mars in your first house until May 9th. This can bring some aggression to your usually flexible personality, as you may find yourself more mired in “right” and “wrong” than the flow of information. Mars is also your 6th and 11th lord, and indicates issues you may have with groups of people or society at large. The Moon is transiting your houses of “others” this week, bringing you into the hard work of compromise and the personal transformation that occurs when you face your fears and remember your higher wisdom. Cancer The week begins with your planet of career and children/creativity having just entered your 12th house of disappointment and escape for the next two months. This will impact your ability to feel good about your work in the world, but will also give you an opportunity to release some attachments you have to your status and reputation.. With your 4th and 11th lord moved into the 10th, It is time to set to work on bigger ambitions that will help society and also perhaps related to home, motherhood, or meditation. Leo For you the week is beginning with a need to reach out to community and get in touch with what your biggest ambitions are and to use that network and impetus to dive closer to your truth and finding peace in your heart. This can also bring you some grace around home and land. Your career planet is moving into the 9th, so you will also have this grace flowing to help your career move in a direction aligned with your higher meaning and purpose. Allow the affects of this full moon waning back to where the month began to remind you of the power of your identity and the need to be present in your relationships. Virgo This week starts out with some upsets in your career and your willful nature coming to battle with your deepest fears and insecurities. This will be a lesson you are working through the next two months, so buckle in for the ride. Your planet of higher wisdom and personal value is transiting this 8th house of transformation too, so expect the unexpected and be willing to release control. You ultimately have no choice but to accept with grace or kicking and screaming. This is an important lesson for you, and coming on the heels of a full moon in your 12th house, it is important that you recognize the ways in which you have not been fully present with reality. The Sun as your 12th lord is also moving into your 7th house on March 14th, so relationships may prove disappointing or based in fantasy over the next few weeks. Libra For you, the shifts of Venus and Mars are about self and others. You are moving into an even heavier focus on relationships. Your obsession over others is unleveling to some action in the next few weeks. On the other hand, your relationship planet, Mars just moved into your 9th house of higher wisdom and so it is by staying true to your beliefs and ideals that you will find the best connection with others. The Moon is transiting through your realm of houses related to the Self, so perhaps its time to really look back at yourself and how you show up for others. Are you always the one in charge of making sure everyone else is ok? Do you share your own needs, desires and feelings too, or just tend to everyone else’s? Get in touch with what you really want and need and write it down. Scorpio For you the shift of Mars into Gemini, means you are finally shifting from trying so hard to make your relationships work, to accepting the lack of control you ultimately have over others. You have no choice. Simultaneously, your relationship planet is causing you to feel like a servant or a victim at the moment and the need to recognize the healing you need to do in this area of your life is key. Bypassing pain can only get you so far. It is necessary to acknowledge it and recognize that you are only delaying the inevitable. Sagittarius This week starts off with some fire in your relationships! This can help bring you creativity (or even children) and it can also check you out of reality at times, and create an escape hatch. This will be a theme for the next two months, so practice discipline particularly in your communication. On the other hand, it is through your creativity and/or children that you are about to experience some hard work and a need to reach out to the larger community. This week is focusing you on yourself and the need to ultimately find peace in your heart. Capricorn The week begins with you having to face some hard work around home and community. This will be a theme over the next two months, so elevating the work to service is key here. Expect to run into some angry communication. Focus on cleaning up your side of the street. Likewise, you are also about to have your home become focal in your creative endeavors and career/responsibilities, so allowing grace to flow and spending time with chidden can be healing. Aquarius The week is one where you are stepping into your creative realm with more fire. This will elevate your career and status, it will also create a need to learn some new communication skills. Step in, you are ready! With your planet of home and higher wisdom moving into the 3rd, you will also be upleveling your wisdom and possibly your actual abode, particularly to make them more beautiful and welcoming to others. This week ends with the Moon moving back to where it began, in your first house, so a full circle experience of how you experience your identity. Don’t be afraid to get lost along the way:) Pisces This week begins a two month period where through your heart you are able to find deeper meaning and purpose. You may also have some luck in home and real estate. At the same time, you are encountering some sudden unexpected events through your finances, things that are out of your control and can cause anxiety, but may not be as bad as you think. This Moon cycle is coming full circle back from avoidance to letting go and surrendering some of your attachments, particularly around community and your highest ambitions.
