Stars This Week (4/3-4/9): The Courage to Care

This week begins with the Moon in Leo and Mercury in Aries moving into close conjunction with Rahu, both in Ashwini, the star of the two horses. Communication can get explosive here if we are not wise with our words! While the exchange of signs between Mercury and Mars will help us discipline our speech, Rahu creates distortion and projection and misunderstandings are imminent. With Venus still in the same sign and Mars in Ardra, the storm, our self-interest and desire to be right is high. This could be the final command that sends those two horses in opposite directions.

The Moon will move into Virgo on the 4th, bringing some anxiousness and insecurity but also a little more grounding and focus. Mercury is the ruler of this Moon and he is now even closer to Rahu, so stick to the facts and what you know and make time for healing practices, particularly for the nervous system. The Full Moon is on the evening of the 5th in Hasta nakshatra, and Mercury and Rahu are exact for this Moon, with a dristhi from Mars in Gemini. This will not be an ordinary Virgo Moon! Much more confusion and fire. Jupiter is joined our Sun in Revati, so our mind and emotions may find peace in higher wisdom. Spend quiet time in nature, both water and earth elements, and perhaps some of the chaos can be soothed. Rahu may also give us some premonitions of the future; pay attention to the messages you receive.

On the 6th Venus enters her own sign of Taurus, while the Moon moves into her other sign of Libra, joining Ketu. We will have a strong desire to get along and mend misunderstandings but the cuts in our heart space will also run deep. Trying to understand the root of your own part in relational challenges is the key here, as is sharing with the people who matter. Scorpio Moon follows, with room for both drama and compassion. Taurus
This week will have its ups and downs for you, Taurus! Your planet of money and creativity/children is now in the 12th house joined Rahu and you might feel anxiety and confusion around these topics. While your ruler begins the week there, she is moving into your first house on the 6th, which will bring you back to the present and into your body! Be mindful of your words in particular as you don’t have the full story and projection is likely, with Mars in the 2nd you may act like you do. The Full Moon is reflecting to you the importance of what you love and how community can support this.

Gemini
This week has your ruler into the house of community and your bigger picture, beyond just career. Joining Rahu, you may blow out of proportion both your identity and your feelings. With exchange of signs of Mars in your first house, you are creating some inimical energy for yourself and need to rectify this. Venus moving into the 12th will make you want to escape and create art or hang out with children but the Full Moon is begging you to bring some attention back into your home and heart.

Cancer
This week starts off with you feeling a lot of disappointment and confusion around what your impact is in the world. With Venus moving into your 11th house on the 6th, you are longing for community and higher ambitions around home and society. The Full Moon brings you a willingness to learn something new, but be aware that your desire to have creativity/children and your achievements linked to this bigger vision is shrouded in illusion at the moment.

Leo
This week begins with the Moon on your rising sign, bringing hidden things to the surface. You may feel disappointment, confusion or a desire to escape. Through your good grace, community and value are yours, but be mindful not to blow your value out of proportion. Virgo

When your ruler moves into her other house of Taurus, you will be facing your biggest fears and forced to transform. Scorpio
The week begins with your efforts helping mitigate chaos and chaos helping release some of the load you have been carrying. With Rahu joined Mercury, it is likely through a veil of confusion and illusions, but look for signs and listen to them, they are everywhere.  When Venus moves into your house of partners on the 6th you will feel good about your relationships, but be aware that some of the peace comes from avoidance. Sagittarius
The week brings you into your creativity and through this helps you connect with others and make your mark on the world. When Venus moves into Taurus on the 6th you will be willing to do the hard work necessary to lift off your bigger vision for the world. This Full Moon is all about your status, recognition and career, reflecting from the cycle of home and heart that you have been navigating since the New Moon.

Capricorn
This week is one where you will be feeling both the dharma and the service you must show up for in your heart. The conjunction of Mercury with Rahu may give you messages. If you meditate, or find silence, you will be able to receive them. This Full Moon is reflecting to you how having faith and following your highest truth can help you release your attachments to the fruits of your efforts.

Aquarius
This week begins with you feeling the effort you need to put in your relationships to make them work. You will also be feeling some willful energy with your children or creativity and this can help you transform if you can manage your fears and anxiety.  The Full Moon is asking you to really face your deepest fears and see how they relate to your value to yourself and others.

Pisces
The week begins with you feeling some anxiety through your money and communication, especially as it relates you to your relationships and home. Be aware that you may be blowing things up in your head, bigger than they really are. Try to discipline your words, accessing your higher wisdom or teachings. This Full Moon is reflecting back to you your relationships and how you are showing up in them,  in a cycle that has begun revolving around yourself.
