This is a powerful week as it holds within just a few days a huge planetary shift, a rare event, Mercury Retrograde, as well as the most auspicious day of the year! The week begins with Jupiter joining the Moon for his last few days in Pisces, where he’s been since April of 2022. Enjoy the watery peace, before you step forward into the fire. On the evening of the 19th, early morning of the 20th, the Sun and Moon will join the North Node, Rahu in a hybrid solar eclipse (both partial and total, depending on where and when you witness it). Happening in Ashwini, the first of the 27 nakshatras, this is a time to set off in a new direction, one you have been aligning towards. Be aware of the illusions and delusions that surround you, particularly pertaining to your power. As it is the Sun being eclipsed, and in his most exalted place in the sky, we will be experiencing a reset on our power, and more capacity to act on our own authority, but also some confusion about how much *we* actually do on our own. Mercury is joined here, and about to go Retrograde on the 21st, so we may have to review some of the facts and figures, our understanding of them, as well as how we communicate to others. On the 21st Jupiter moves into Aries, beginning a cycle of more certain action on our beliefs. As he is traveling through the Gandanta point, the karmic knot, there is something we must finish if we are to move forward with our actions aligned with our deepest knowing. The more we have dissolved our ego and surrendered the fruits of our actions, the more we will set off in the direction that is truly aligned with Truth. April 22nd (& 23rd) the Moon is in Taurus, joined the ruler Venus, where she is also exalted. This day is celebrated as Akshaya Tritiya, where both luminaries are in their highest position in the sky. Akshaya means “never diminishing” and Tritiya is the 3rd lunar phase, which after the New Moon in Aries, produces both an exalted Sun & Moon. This day is said to be powerful for starting new ventures, purchasing gold or other investments, and making offerings/prayers for the abundance of particularly men. This is not the best day to get married, as the nakshatra of exaltation for the Moon, Krittika, is where the wives of the sages were cast off from their husbands for perceived infidelity. As it is on the heels of an eclipse, Jupiter is in the Gandanta, and Mercury is Retrograde, we would be wise to also take care in any other investments as there may be delays and confusion within our discernment and clarity. Instead drop into your relationship with Pure Consciousness through meditation and prayer and if there is a move you are meant to make, source it from that place ;-) To find out how this week's major events will affect you specifically, including Jupiter changing signs, and the Eclipse, plus some healing tips and advice for Akshaya Tritiya for Your Sign, Read on to the Forecast for all 12 Signs! Aries This week is particularly important for you as all this activity is happening right in your first house! Your creativity and passion is your power and it is strong when you wear it on your identity. The eclipse will be a reset on this power and maybe send you creating in a new and different direction, or furthering something you are already working towards. Be open to genius, but also aware of delusion. Also try to remind yourself 3 times a day that you are not the doer and give yourself and your ego plenty of rest. Akshaya Tritiya may bring you to want to invest in a new car, home or land. Listen to any signs and heed any roadblocks. Jupiter moving into your 1st house is going to bring your wisdom and teachings to the front of your awareness for the next year, and also how you can use them to escape reality. Recommendations: art supplies, calming teas, adaptogens, meditation, light candles or contained fires. Restorative & heart opening yoga postures (gentle backbends), twists and trataka gazing. Taurus This powerful eclipse is happening in your 12th house of escape, dreams, and letting go. You may find yourself wanting to retreat to the forest, or a far off land and finding some disappointment through your home, car or mother (or yourself as a mother). The need to surrender your will and your attachments to outcome is high. Jupiter moving into Aries brings transformation and your highest worldly desire from surrender as well, so tap into your dream state, meditate regularly and take time in nature away from the chaos of the world. This might be a time you pull back from your community. Aksaya Tritiya can be a good time to invest in yourself, your capacity to be with your own feelings and your meditations or practices that dive into your subconscious. Recommendations: record or write down your dreams, meditation, essential oils of sandalwood, patchouli, and clary sage, psychic reading or hypnosis therapy, retreat in nature Gemini The eclipse is activating in your 11th house, bringing all the challenge and joys of community and your place in society into a new light. In what ways are you of service and in what ways are you adding to the dissonance? Your desire and will is a source of power when you are guided by what is higher. Too much competition dulls the light and increases your ego. Remember your values and remind yourself of how you find peace. Jupiter’s move into Aries is shifting your focus from your status and reputation to what greater offering you would like to make the world a better place. Recommendations: go to an event in your community that aligns with your values & ideals, join an online group to network or meet partners/friends, pick up a new hobby or hone one you already enjoy. Volunteer with an organization you love or offer your own services to people in need for discount/free. Avoid social media arguments and the news. Cancer The eclipse is one of both your identity and your value in your 10th house of career, status and recognition. Your sense of power through your finances or possessions is getting a reset. Recognizing that your true power comes from valuing yourself and doing work that aligns with what you care about is key here. There may be feelings of loss and a desire to “fix” what feels broken, try to surrender that. When Jupiter moves into Aries, you have an opportunity to align your highest beliefs and teachings with the mark you want to leave on this world. Akshaya Tritiya is a time to invest in your community or a charity you believe in. Recommendations: stay home, goal manifestation, Accounting, vision boarding, journaling, business/project design Leo The eclipse is of your ruling planet, the Sun, exalted in your 9th house of higher wisdom and teachings, meaning your identity is having a reset through what you think you believe. The messages you receive right now could be potent, particularly if you allow yourself to be in quiet and remote environments or in meditation. Jupiter moving into Aries signifies a time of deep transformation from your beliefs. Creativity will also be flowing in this next year. Akshaya Tritiya is a time for you to make an investment towards your career. Recommendations: take a class, practice yoga, chanting mantras, japa w/ mala beads, reading spiritual books, meditation music, trataka gazing, ceremony/ritual Virgo This eclipse is of your 12th lord in your 8th house, indicating that sudden unexpected events may shake you up out of your slumber. The fact that the Sun, the source of power is your 12th lord, shows how your power is often hidden from you and that it is exalted in the 8th shows that you only find it when things are out of your control. This makes sense as you love things to be In your control. Your ruling planet is going retrograde as well, so expect to review the many ways you can’t find a drawer for everything in life. Now is a time to surrender and allow. Jupiter moving into the 8th indicates your relationships and home life are also about to transform over the next year. Akshaya Tiritiya is a time to invest in a class or spiritual group that helps bring you closer to Truth. Recommendations: guided meditations, adaptogens, plant allies, tantric practices, Reiki, new class or program, spiritual books, breath practices, calming herbs and foods Libra This eclipse is in your 7th house of relationships and others, where you have been hyper focused for a year. With your 11th lord, the Sun exalted here, you can expect to have a reset on your power in community through your relationships. Be aware of illusions of grandeur, as Rahu’s powerful effect will bring an exaggerated view of said power. Mercury going Retrograde here is bringing a revisit of what you believe, and also possibly of any contracts or beliefs you have. Your 10th lord’s presence means your career and reputation is muted and the South node on your rising sign, awaiting its own eclipse in two weeks is shadowing your own identity. Much more will come to the surface at that time! Jupiter’s move into the 7th is one that brings inimical energy and debts from your relations over the next year. Akshaya Tritiya is a time to seek investment capital from others for your career or next project, or to repay any loans you have outstanding. Recommendations: Ho’oponopono, council, relationship work/class/therapy, Relationship or Love Astrology Reading, Tantric Practices/mantras, Sacral Chakra work, Ashwaganda, Damiana & Rose herbs, candles, massage oil, condoms. Scorpio The eclipse in your 6th house of your 10th lord, is a reset on the power you wield from your career or work in this world. It is a lot of work and you often feel like a victim. See if you can reimagine this as service and tweak a few things to make it easier. Jupiter’s move into the 6th indicates that your creativity (and children if you have) will become much more work as well, if you do not remember to be in a service mindset. Akshaya Tritiitya is a time to invest in couple’s counseling or relational classes. Recommendations: Weekly Planner, Accounting, Yoga Classes, hire a Virtual Assistant/Childcare or other help, Relationship Astrology Reading or Couple’s Group/Class/Therapy Sagittarius The eclipse of your 9th lord exalted in your 5th house indicates your about to get a reset on your wisdom and teaching, bringing out your creative fire and/or perhaps relationship with children, if there are any in your life. Perhaps you will be guiding others in a new passion, or an old one reignited? Jupiter moving into Aries brings peace, or a sense of home from engaging with your playful, childlike energy. Akshaya Tritiya is a time to pay back debts to others, or make a pathway to do that. It can also be a time to work towards collecting donations for a work of service in this world. Recommendations: art supplies, making art, mentorship, volunteer work, going back to school/taking a class, sports equipment, working with fire, being around children Capricorn The eclipse is happening in your 4th house of home and it is with your 8th lord, who happens to be exalted there, so expect the unexpected! There may be something that feels unsettling or even catastrophic occurring to upset your sense of peace. Sit with it and allow your feelings to come up and have a seat at the table. You have to feel it to heal it! This is serving to help you learn that security comes from within, not from the four walls that surround you. Jupiter’s move into Aries, is going to have you unleveling your home skills or mom skills or car skills, and ideally your meditation skills;-) Akshaya Tritiya is a good time to invest in time with your partner or other relations that is co-creative, or focused on your children. You could make savings accounts for the kids, or take a class together? Recommendations: fun activities, games, art supplies, meditation, journal your feelings, art therapy, gardening, home design, parenting class, self-parenting workshop, conversation with mom Aquarius This eclipse is your 7th lord of partnerships, exalted in your 3rd house of will and learning something new. This will be a reset on what you think you know about relating to others which is honestly not all that much, as it’s usually a game of power and humility for you (the other person often has the power). Have fun unleveling your game! Jupiter moving into Aries is also going to have you unleveling your finance game. Akshaya Tritiya is an opportunity to invest in some hard work around the house or service to your mom (or a mom). Recommendations: relationship class, question game for relating, communication practices, acro yoga or partner dance (try being the lead), relationship astrology reading, trip to a home improvement store, call your mom Pisces This eclipse is in your 2nd house of money and security and is the 6th lord of debts, hard work and service. The Sun is exalted here, so it is when you use your money for the good of helping others that you shine the brightest. Jupiter moving off your rising sign and into your 2nd house shows how finance and security will be a big theme in the year to come for you. This is how you will feel both your identity and your status and capacity to tend your external responsibilities. Akshaya Tritiya is a time to invest in learning something new and creative that brings you joy, or spending time with children. Recommendations: accounting, financial planning, savings accounts, volunteerism, donation to charity or organization/indiviudal you believe in, spending time with children, teaching a class on investing/money management to single parents or teenagers.
