Can you feel it? Mars, who has been in apparent retrograde motion since Oct 30th, 2022 has been causing us to build up resentment and anger as we feel others are keeping us from our discipline and righteous action. January 12th, 2023 he moves direct, and as it turns out, it was our choice all along, and now that we have forward motion with the planet of Action, Courage and Discipline, what will we choose to do with all our fire? In the sign of Taurus, productive uses can be gardening/growing food, cooking, taking care of our money, possessions and family matters, and sensual/sexual activity. This can also be a good time to get disciplined about your diet and to begin an exercise routine that is moderate or mellow, as opposed to rigorous and intense, like yoga or daily walking. Getting your hands in the dirt and spending time in nature can be healing. As can cooling off, when things feel too fiery. With a direct dristhi (energetic gaze) on Mercury, who is stationing direct himself, we do have to be careful that we don’t suddenly speak from a place of whatever anger has built up over the last few months. With Venus’ sweet vibes present, we are likely to want to be connective and harmonious unless we get poked or have a red cloth waved in front of our face.
