On April 21st, 2023, after a year in his own watery realm in Pisces, Jupiter is jumping into the fire in Aries until May 2024! Here we focused on the doing rather than just being when it comes to what we believe to be true. In order to make an active choice, we also have to make a decision. We have to decide that one thing is “right” and then usually that makes something else “wrong’. It doesn’t have to be that way, we can decide that the ideal we are going to move forward towards is “right for us” or better yet, “right for us in this moment”, allowing the flexibility of future moments to change our course, but of course, Aries isn’t interested in future moments, it’s all about the Now. In this way, Jupiter in Aries is very enlightened, as it is almost child-like in its ability to spring into action on any given judgement. This is the same childishness that can have us lacking foresight and having to go back, fix what we broke, or make amends later but that is also not important to Aries. On a personal level, this can cause us to miss how our actions affect others. On a societal level, this can cause us to make collective decisions based on what sounds good to us now, and have no interest in the consequences of those choices. This can also give us the courage and discipline to fight for what we believe, no matter what others may think or say. Read on to find out how he travels through the 3 Nakshatras of Aries! Jupiter through the Nakshatras
Ashwini (April 21, 2023-June 20, 2023, Retrograde Nov 26th, 2023-Dec 30th, 2023, Dec 30-Feb 3, 2024) We will set off in the direction of our beliefs and attempt to motivate others to join course. Ashwini is the star of the twin horses of Ayurvedic healing and we may feel aligned with strengthening our own physical health and well-being or promoting that of others. Headstrong and sure, we also may be right in what we believe, as we have the blessings of both Consciousness and Perceptivity here. When Retrograde: We will have to re-wind some of our actions, using our powers of listening to hear where we lost our partners in crime along the way. Our hastiness to get somewhere before, becomes our opportunity to slow down and catch some of the landscape we galloped past the first time. Bharani (June 20-Sept 4, 2023, Retrograde Sept 4-Nov 26, 2023, Feb 3, 2024-April 16, 2024) Here we will be entwined with the mysteries of life and death and how we can control life to avoid a fate worse than death, chaos. This is also the place where we must bear the consequences of not heeding the advice of others, or at least caring how our actions may affect them. Sexual promiscuity, or the reverse, overly conservative sexual values may be present. When Retrograde: We will likely have to pass back through the portal of life from whatever death we have experienced, hopefully to learn how to better manage our creative energy and make better choices at the outset of inception. Krittika (April 16th-May 1st, 2024) Here we have Agni, the fire diety giving us the power of sight. We may see more than meets the eye and have a sudden urge to cut off any person, thing or idea we felt married to before. This is a time to witness where we have come from and what we’ve accomplished, so that we can move forward in more peaceful and steady ways in the future. Any bridges we have burned will now come to light and we can see that the ends don’t always justify the means. We will also begin to see that no matter how much we will our way through life, fate always has its eyes on us and our sense of control is often false. Offer it to the fire. Swaha!
