Feeling things heat up?! No need to explode, that which you’ve been avoiding is doing it for you:) While Ketu, the south node has been transiting sidereal Scorpio since September 2020, we have had “no head” to engage in the area of life that Scorpio rules for each of us. This means that we have been sitting on all our past information and accrued wisdom and hopefully digging deep into our shadows in this area of life. Shadows can be past trauma, triggers, fears, and they can also be familial, ancestral or of a group that you identify with. As I have spoken of in the last few forecasts, this past eclipse in Scorpio was really the final hurrah for us to “see” what we are meant to see, bring it to the surface and find a way to reintegrate it. Whatever we have not done this with is coming out now in a fiery and explosive manner as Mars is now in his own house and he is on a mission! Mars and Ketu will be in exact conjunction in sidereal Scorpio on the 14th and 15th of December. Scorpio is a water sign and yet ruled by Mars it is also fiery. Ketu and Mars operate similarly in that they are both showing us where we are cutting (non-connective), harsh, fiery and skilled. Mars is meant to help us discipline ourselves, not others, yet all-too often we use his energy in anger at others instead of to strengthen ourselves. Ketu is where we are wise, but uninterested and even disgusted. Together they are militant, surgical, exacting and quite explosive. This is the time to look within. What can you do to personally up level your own skills as you navigate your fears and emotions? When feeling triggered, take a breath and recognize that the other person likely is too, so you can throw fuel on the fire or bite your tongue and take another breath. Many of the battles we fight are not even our own and if they are, they are not necessarily aligned with the path to freedom or peace. Since we are swimming in turbulent waters full of fire right now, see if you can spend some time grounding with the earth; trees, forests, rocks, still waters, dirt and shade can all be beneficial to bring the emotions steady and the anger down. Calming breath practices like Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breath) are also helpful! Remember that all it takes is one deep breath to reset your mind and that could completely change the outcome:) Jai Ma!
