New Moon & Solar Eclipse
On the morning of Saturday, August 11th we have a New Moon and Partial Solar Eclipse in sidereal Cancer in the star of Aslesha. Aslesha is where we cling to what we love. It is ‘the entwiner’ and brings us into the realm of the Naga, the serpents of the underworld, our subconscious. The New Moon is joined Retrograde Mercury, Creating an emotional conjunction where we have trouble discerning what Is from what our turbulent emotions tell us. Retrograde Mars is across the sky, giving a frustrates dristhi, and Venus is now debilitated in the sign of Virgo, constraining our capacity to find happiness. In it all, we must find our breath and capacity to find stillness. Great power can be harnessed if we go within! |
